About the Business Forum

The 4th SDG Business Forum will take place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on 25 September 2019. The Business Forum provides a unique multi-stakeholder platform to support business action and partnerships to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – fostering public-private dialogues, catalysing new partnerships and alliances, and exploring innovative business solutions to accelerate sustainable development.

The Business Forum will be held during the UN’s 2019 SDG Summit which will be held under the theme of: ‘The SDGs… Turning Promises into Reality’.

More information on the Business Forum including the Agenda can be found here.

Global Compact Network Australia (GCNA) at the SDGs Business Forum

The GCNA will be represented by our Chair David Cooke, who has been invited to attend the Business Forum, and by our Senior Advisor Corinne Schoch who will be attending as an observer.

If you cannot attend the SDG Business Forum but are interested in hearing about the key outcomes of the Business Forum, as well as insights from the other major events across the UN General Assembly week including the 2019 SDG Summit and the 2019 Climate Change Summit, join Corinne Schoch, Senior Advisor at the GCNA, and Andrew Peterson, CEO of the Business Council for Sustainable Development Australia, on Thursday 7 October for the GCNA’s Webinar ‘Keeping up with the SDGs’ to stay abreast of all international developments from UNGA Week.
