Localising the Sustainable Development Goals

Wednesday, 18 March 2020 – Thursday, 19 March 2020

9am – 5pm

Queensland State Library, Cultural Precinct, Stanley Place, South Brisbane Queensland 4101

Local action is essential to the success of the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The conference explores how different organisations are using and can better use the SDGs to drive local action. Organisations including large businesses and SMEs, state and local governments, civil society and community organisations, universities, and schools – who are interested in seeing better outcomes for their communities using the SDGs should not miss out on the conference. The conference is hosted by Griffith University but proudly supported by Banksia Foundation, Global Compact Network Australia and the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN). The conference will build the work of these organisations who have championed action for SDGs. The conference is hosted in the State Library Queensland, Brisbane, on the 18th and 19th of March, 2020. Full program and speaker line up to be announced soon. For more information and to register your interest see https://www.griffith.edu.au/localising-sustainable-development-goals
